Best Practices for Uploading and Managing Organization Logos

Explore comprehensive documentation designed to help you get the most out of FlexiReviews. Quickly find guides, features, and step-by-step instructions using the search below, and access everything you need to set up, manage, and optimize your experience.

1. Why Logos Matter #

A logo is often the first thing customers notice. When it’s used consistently, it builds trust and makes the brand look polished. Here’s where the logo appears:

  • In emails sent to customers (like review requests — if enabled)
  • On the “Feedback” forms
  • On social media share images
  • Inside your agency dashboard

2. Image Formats: What Works Best? #

Here’s what to use and what to avoid:

✅ Recommended:

  • PNG – Best choice! Keeps quality high and supports transparent backgrounds (great for emails).
  • JPG / JPEG – Good if your logo has no transparency or includes photo-like elements.

⚠️ Acceptable (with a note):

  • SVG – Sharp and scalable, great for social media and dashboards. ⚠️ But not good for emails — many email apps don’t display SVGs properly.

🚫 Avoid:

  • GIF – Not ideal for logos. Static logos in GIF format tend to lose quality.

3. Tips for Preparing Your Logo #

The platform auto-generates different versions of your logo, but it helps to start with a good source image. No need to upload multiple sizes — Flexi Review handles that for you!

👍 Best Practices:

  • High quality – Always upload the highest resolution version you have.
  • Transparent background – Especially useful for social media (use PNG or SVG).
  • Balanced shape – Avoid logos that are too wide or too tall. A more square/rectangular shape fits better in most places.
  • Leave space around the logo – Don’t crop too tightly. A little breathing room helps.

4. Where Your Logo Is Used (and What Works Best) #

Where It’s ShownIdeal Format & SizeTips
EmailsPNG, around 300×80 pxSVGs won’t work in emails. PNG is the safest choice.
Feedback FormPNG or SVG, around 300×120 pxWill shrink on mobile to around 80px tall.
Social Media ImagesPNG or SVG, at least 600×600 pxTransparent background helps your logo blend nicely. Square-ish logos work best.
Organization/Customer CardsPNG or SVG, around 300×128 pxJust make sure the logo is crisp.
Internal ThumbnailsAuto-generatedSystem creates a 50×50 px version automatically.

5. How to Upload & Manage Logos #

Where You Can Upload #

  • While creating a Customer
  • While creating an Organization
  • While editing an Organization
  • While editing a Feedback Form
  • While editing a Review Request Campaign
  • When using the Social Media Image Designer

What Happens When You Upload #

  • Your logo gets added to the organization’s logo library.
  • If no logo was set before, this becomes the main one.
  • You can upload more than one version (PNG, JPG, SVG).
  • The system automatically creates versions for different uses:
    • Emails
    • Feedback forms
    • Social media
    • Internal thumbnails
